Sending Documents for E-Signature

EduCtrl includes built-in integration with eSignSure, allowing organizations to send agreement and contract documents for online signature directly from the CRM.

This feature can be used for:

  • Student agreements
  • Agent contracts
  • Admission documents
  • Service agreements
  • Other approval-based documents

Prerequisites

Before using the eSignature feature, you must:

  1. Create an account on eSignSure
  2. Upload your agreement or contract documents to eSignSure
  3. Configure signature placeholders and fillable fields within the document template

For example, you can add placeholders for:

  • Signature
  • Name
  • Date
  • Address
  • Other custom fields

Generating the eSignSure API Key

To connect EduCtrl with eSignSure:

  1. Login to eSignSure
  2. Navigate to:
    Settings → API Keys
  3. Generate a new API Key

Connecting eSignSure with EduCtrl

In EduCtrl CRM, go to:

Settings → Advanced → Online Signature (eSignSure Integration)

Paste the generated eSignSure API Key and save the configuration.


Sending Agreement Documents to Students

To send a document for student signature:

  1. Open the Student Details page
  2. In the right sidebar actions menu, select “Student Agreement”
  3. Choose the agreement or contract document configured in eSignSure
  4. Click “Send for eSignature”

Once sent:

  • The student receives an email notification from eSignSure
  • The student must follow the email instructions to complete the signature process
  • After signing, eSignSure sends a completion notification to the configured admin email address

Within EduCtrl, staff can:

  • Track signature status
  • View document progress
  • Download the signed PDF document

Sending Agreement Documents to Agents

EduCtrl also supports sending contracts and agreements to agents for online signature.

To send an agreement to an agent:

  1. Open the Agent Details page
  2. Go to the Agreement Document tab
  3. Select the agreement or contract document configured in eSignSure
  4. Click “Send for eSignature”

The agent will receive an email notification from eSignSure with instructions to complete the signing process.

After completion:

  • eSignSure notifies the admin email about the signed document
  • The signed PDF can be viewed and downloaded directly from EduCtrl

This integration helps organizations streamline document signing workflows and maintain digitally signed agreements securely.
