Configuring Study Levels
Study Levels in EduCtrl define the type or level of education a student intends to pursue. These study levels are used throughout the CRM for student profiling, course matching, application processing, and document management.
Default Study Levels
EduCtrl comes with several predefined study levels, including:
- Undergraduate
- PG Diploma / Certificate
- Postgraduate
- UG + PG (Accelerated) Degree
- PhD
- Foundation
- And more
These study levels are fully configurable. Administrators can:
- Add new study levels
- Rename existing levels
- Remove unused levels
This flexibility allows organizations to customize the CRM according to their academic programs and admission processes.
Study Level & Degree Mapping
Each study level is associated with a Degree Category.
Common degree categories include:
- Pre-Bachelor’s
- Bachelor’s
- Pre-Master’s
- Master’s
- PhD
- Others
The selected degree category plays an important role in document configuration and application workflows.
Document Configuration Dependency
The Degree Category is linked with the student document configuration system.
This means the required documents for students are determined based on the configured degree type. For example:
- Bachelor’s applicants may require Class 12 documents
- Master’s applicants may require Bachelor’s certificates
Therefore, it is important to configure the correct degree category for every study level.
Usage in Course Finder
Study levels are also used in the Course Finder and course search modules.
Students and staff can filter or search courses based on the selected study level, helping streamline course discovery and application processing.
