Adding and Managing Agent Partner Accounts
EduCtrl CRM allows organizations to manage sub-agents and partner agents who refer students for admissions and related services.
The Agent Management module helps organizations onboard agents, track referrals, and provide agents with controlled CRM access.
Creating Agent Partner Accounts
There are two ways to create agent partner accounts in EduCtrl.
Option 1: Create Agent from Backend
To manually create an agent account from the CRM backend:
- Go to:
Agents → Agents List → Create - Enter the required details:
- Agent contact information
- Business name
- Login credentials
- Assigned point-of-contact staff member
- Upload the agent logo if available
- Create the account
Once the account is created, the agent will receive a welcome email containing their login credentials.
Option 2: Agent Signup from Frontend
EduCtrl also provides an Agent Signup page on the CRM frontend.
Agents can directly submit their registration details through the signup form.
Before the agent can access the CRM:
- A staff member must review and approve the agent account
- Only approved agents can log in and start using the platform
Agent Logo Management
Agents can upload their business logo for use within the Agent Panel.
The uploaded logo must be approved by staff before it becomes visible in the agent portal.
Agent Portal Features
Agents can manage and submit student information through their dedicated portal.
Agents can:
- Add students
- Update student profile details
- Upload student academic documents
- Manage referred student information
Student Communication for Agent-Referred Students
For students added by agents, all CRM notifications are sent to the agent instead of directly to the student.
This includes communications related to:
- Student activities
- Application updates
- Notifications
- CRM alerts
The agent is expected to communicate and coordinate directly with the student.
As part of this workflow:
- Student login access is not provided for agent-referred students
- The agent acts as the primary communication point between the student and the consultancy
This setup helps organizations efficiently manage partner-based admission workflows.
