Viewing Communication History with Students

Learn how to view all communications—messages, follow-ups, and support interactions—associated with a student in EduCtrl CRM.

Prerequisites

  • Access to student profile and related modules
  • Messaging and support permissions enabled for your role

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. From Student Profile

  1. Go to Students > Manage Students from the left-hand menu.
  2. Search for the student and click View.
  3. In the Overview tab, scroll down to see past communication entries, including:
    • Emails, SMS, and WhatsApp messages
    • Follow-up records and notes

2. From Applications Section

  1. Inside the student's profile, go to the Applications tab.
  2. Each application record includes a Send Message to Student option.
  3. You can send a message and also view a log of all messages related to that application at the bottom of the page.

3. From Services Section

  1. Open the Services tab within the student's profile.
  2. Use the Send Message to Student option for service-specific communication.
  3. Messages sent here are visible at the bottom of the service page under message history.

4. From Support Ticket Section

  1. Go to the Support Tickets module from the left-hand menu.
  2. View a list of tickets raised for or by the student.
  3. Click + New Ticket to create a new one.
  4. Replies can be posted directly in the ticket thread.

  • Use application- and service-level messaging for relevant context.
  • Regularly check the support ticket section to stay updated on open issues.
  • Follow-up notes help maintain a clear communication trail.
